15. Rhyperior LV.X – DP29
This promo came inside the Rhyperior LV.X Collector’s Tin back in 2008. It features the “Hard Crush” attack that could deal massive damage by discarding Energy cards from the top of your deck.

11. Toxicroak G – DP41
This promo version of Cyrus’s Toxicroak was a vital tech card slotted into many competitive decks at the time. It was especially valued for its “Leap Away” power and its ability to counter heavy hitters using “Poison Revenge.”
10. Empoleon LV.X – DP11
Empoleon LV.X was part of the very first wave of Diamond and Pearl tins and helped introduce the new Level-Up mechanic to players. Its “Supreme Command” power enabled hand disruption, making it a strong tool in any tactical matchup.
9. Arceus LV.X – DP56
Released near the tail end of the DP cycle, this card let players use the “Omniscient” body to access attacks from any Arceus in play. It remains a fan favorite thanks to its unique cosmic holofoil and its identity as the Alpha Pokémon.
8. Dialga LV.X – DP17
This promo brought the temporal ruler of Sinnoh into the spotlight with its “Time Skip” attack. It was a highly sought after tin promo that made this powerful legendary much more accessible for everyday players.
7. Infernape LV.X – DP10
Infernape LV.X became well known for its “Burning Head” Poke-Power, which gave Fire-type decks the draw support they needed. This promo helped cement Infernape as the most popular and aggressive starter pick among collectors in 2007.
6. Darkrai LV.X – DP19
This Darkrai promo was released to celebrate The Rise of Darkrai movie and quickly made an impact. Its “Dark Shadow” Poke-Body boosted the power of Darkness Energy, making it a cornerstone for Darkrai variant decks in tournament play.
5. Mewtwo LV.X – DP28
Mewtwo LV.X is one of the most iconic promos of the entire era thanks to the Pokémon’s lasting popularity and its “Psybarrier” Poke-Body. That body made it nearly untouchable against unevolved Pokémon, which frustrated opponents for years.
4. Giratina LV.X – DP38
Released alongside the Platinum expansion, this promo features Giratina in its Origin Forme. It was widely collected for its “Invisible Tentacles” Poke-Body, which forced opponents to discard cards whenever they attacked.
3. Lucario LV.X – DP12
