Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game is an upcoming physical TCG developed by Riot Games, set to bring the world of Runeterra to tabletops around the globe. Riftbound Set Highlights
The inaugural set, Origins, comprises over 300 cards, including Champions, Units, Spells, Legends, and Gear. Notable champions featured are Jinx, Lee Sin, Lux, Viktor, and Yasuo. Some cards will have secret rare versions with exclusive artwork.
- Proving Grounds: A starter set designed for 2-4 players, featuring pre-built decks centered around champions like Annie, Master Yi, Lux, and Garen. It includes custom acrylic champion figures and a guided play experience to help new players learn the game.
- Champion Decks: Preconstructed 56-card decks focused on individual champions, such as Lee Sin. Each deck comes with a playmat, booster pack, deck-building guide, and a custom deck box.
- Booster Packs: Each 14-card booster pack contains a mix of commons, uncommons, rares, and foils. On average, a booster box includes over six epic rarity cards and more than two special alt-art cards.
The game is scheduled to launch first in China in Summer 2025, followed by a rollout to English-speaking countries starting in October 2025. A full global release is expected to complete in 2026, signaling Riot’s ambitious commitment to making Riftbound an international phenomenon.
