One Piece Heroines Edition Vol.2 (EB-05) is the second Extra Booster in the One Piece Card Game built entirely around the series’ female characters. It follows the first Heroines Edition (EB-03), which became one of the most talked-about Extra Boosters in the game’s history thanks to its SP cards and rare chase pulls. The English version releases on October 30, 2026, one day before the Japanese version on October 31.

Like the first set, Vol.2 is an Extra Booster rather than a numbered main set or a Premium Booster. Boxes contain 24 packs, and English packs are priced the same as a regular main set pack. The set was revealed at ONE PIECE DAY ‘26 and arrives shortly after the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime special, which clearly shaped much of the artwork. So is it worth your money? That depends on whether you collect, play, or both.
A Fashion Magazine Spread Built Around One Piece’s Heroines

Heroines Edition Vol.2 puts the women of One Piece front and center. Nami and Nico Robin lead the set and appear on the packaging, but the lineup reaches deep into the cast. Alt arts include Boa Hancock, Yamato, Shirahoshi, Jewelry Bonney, Perona, Black Maria, Baby 5, Rebecca, Nojiko, Sugar, Alvida, Gloriosa, and Miss Buckingham Stussy.

Much of the art borrows the soft, stylish look of the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime, while other cards lean into chibi or K-pop-inspired styles. The biggest visual hook is a series of SP cards designed like high-fashion magazine covers, with Nami, Robin, Hancock, Stussy, Reiju, Gerd, and Pudding all getting the treatment. Shirahoshi also gets a manga rare, joining the set’s black-and-white manga-style chase cards.
The set also includes new and returning Leaders for Robin, Nami, Hancock, Vivi, Shirahoshi, Bonney, and Rebecca, plus special DON!! cards with playful designs, such as one styled like ketchup writing on omurice.
The Magazine SPs Every Collector Will Want

The Nami and Robin magazine SPs are the headline cards, and their matching editorial cover design makes them natural pairs that many collectors will want together. Close behind is the manga Robin Leader, which many fans already rank above other recent manga Robin cards and which pairs nicely with the manga Luffy Leader from OP-17. Rounding out the top chases is a special Nami illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki, the creator of To Love-Ru, available in both a normal version and a gold stamp version, with the gold stamp almost certainly the more valuable of the two.

Hancock’s magazine SP is another card to watch, since her cards have a strong history of holding premium value and her magazine cover art is one of the cleanest designs in the set. The Secret Rare Nami alt art is also a strong pull and has already been a highlight in early box openings. Stussy, Gerd, Reiju, and Pudding round out the magazine SP lineup, and while they will likely sit below Nami, Robin, and Hancock in value, they remain popular with fans of those characters.
✅ Pros: More Than Just Pretty Cards
- Standout artwork. The magazine cover SPs, manga Leaders, and anime-inspired alt arts make this one of the most visually striking One Piece sets of the year.
- Strong collector demand. EB-03 proved that heroine-themed cards sell, and Vol.2 builds on that with more rarities and more art styles.
- Real gameplay value. This is not just a collector set. It adds support for Crocodile and Baroque Works, the Vinsmoke family, Donquixote Pirates, Revolutionary Army, Navy, and Animal Kingdom Pirates decks, plus new options for Nami, Robin, and Yamato. Players can strengthen older Leaders without waiting for a main set.
- Fair pack price at retail. English packs cost the same as a standard main set pack, so buying at MSRP is a reasonable deal for the art you get.
- Good print quality. Early English openings show thick cards with fine, satisfying texture on the special cards.
⚠️ Cons: Why Your Wallet Might Disagree
- Chase cards will be expensive at launch. Expect the SPs, the manga Robin Leader, and the gold stamp Yabuki Nami to sell far above where they will eventually settle.
- Hard to find at retail. Some retailers are limiting purchases to one per account, and pre-orders are already appearing above MSRP.
- Pull luck matters a lot. One early box opening produced multiple Nami hits but zero Robin pulls in what many call the “Robin set.” If you want a specific character, opening boxes is a gamble.
- Repeated characters. Hancock and Nami appear across many rarities. If you are not a fan of those characters, a big part of the chase lineup may not appeal to you.
- Texture questions on English cards. Some creators have claimed the English SPs look flatter than the Japanese versions, though others who opened English packs say the texture is excellent. Check in-hand photos before paying a premium for either language.

Final Verdict
One Piece Heroines Edition Vol.2 is worth buying, as long as you buy smart. Collectors should skip chasing cards in boxes and pick up singles of the Nami and Robin magazine SPs or the manga Robin Leader a few weeks after release, when prices usually cool off. Players will find real value in the support cards for Crocodile, Vinsmoke, and other older decks, many of which should be affordable as singles. Investors should focus on the SPs and the gold stamp Yabuki Nami, which have the strongest long-term potential based on how EB-03’s top cards performed, but avoid paying release week prices. If you love the women of One Piece, this is one of the best looking sets the game has released.
