Pikachu cameo cards turn every binder page into a game of hide-and-seek. On these cards Pikachu is not the star: it shows up as a plush, a poster, a dessert, a silhouette in the trees, or a guest in somebody else’s big moment.

Some cameos jump out right away while others take a real search, so this list is split into a main countdown and a Hard Mode round for sharp-eyed collectors. Grab your binder and see how many you can spot.
13. Pokémon Fan Club 155/156
This full art Supporter from Sun & Moon: Ultra Prism shows a group of friends sharing a big hug, which sums up what a fan club is all about. Of course, no Pokémon fan club would be complete without its most famous member. Scan the scene and find where Pikachu joined the celebration. It is the oldest card in the main countdown and a great pick for fans of classic full art Trainers.
12. Elesa’s Sparkle 147/159
Megumi Mizutani illustrated this full art Supporter from Crown Zenith. Elesa is Unova’s Electric-type Gym Leader, so an Electric mouse showing up on her card fits perfectly. Look past Elesa’s pose to find Pikachu sharing her spotlight. Pair it with Iono further down the list for a stylish Electric-themed page.
11. Fuecoco ex 147/128
Atsushi Furusawa illustrated this Special Illustration Rare from 30th Celebration, a set built around Pikachu with 30 unique Pikachu cards. The art drops Fuecoco into a lively party scene that matches the anniversary mood. With Pikachu as the face of the whole set, spotting it at Fuecoco’s party feels like finding the guest of honor.
10. Kieran 218/167
Teeziro illustrated this Twilight Masquerade Special Illustration Rare, which shows Kieran at the Festival of Masks in Kitakami, before his story takes a darker turn. The festival is packed with small details, and Pikachu is one of them. It is a sweet card for anyone who loves Kieran’s arc and wants a hidden Pikachu in the same pocket.
9. Miriam 251/198
Akira Komayama illustrated this Special Illustration Rare from the Scarlet & Violet base set. Miriam strikes an energetic pose in a bright pastel room, surrounded by swirling papers and books. Check the wall: a cheerful Pikachu poster hangs in the background. It is a small detail that makes the room feel like a real Pokémon fan’s study space.
8. Pikachu ex 276/217
This one flips the challenge around. In booota’s Special Illustration Rare from Ascended Heroes, Pikachu is the star, and the cameos come from the Kanto starters in the background. Pikachu hides on every other card in this list, so it deserves one card where it takes the spotlight and the others play hide-and-seek.
7. Glaceon VMAX 209/203
One of the biggest chase cards from Evolving Skies hides a Pikachu. kirisAki’s alternate art shows Glaceon in a vividly colored scene with Pikachu and other Pokémon in the background. Most collectors are busy admiring Glaceon, so finding Pikachu is a reward for anyone who looks twice.
6. Eevee 173
This promo headlined the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box, with a stamped version in the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box. Eevee is sleeping on a rug, with a photo of the same Eevee at the top of the art. The Pikachu here is not a real one: it is a plush lying nearby, next to a Voltorb plush and a Rawst Berry. Some fans think the two Electric-type plushies hint that this Eevee might one day become Jolteon.
5. Bulbasaur 037
Saboteri illustrated this Mega Evolution promo, released in the First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1 on March 20, 2026. Bulbasaur sits in Viridian Forest, and hidden in the scenery is a silhouette of Pikachu, a nod to where trainers could find one in the Generation I games. The card is full of other Kanto Easter eggs too, including a Mt. Moon sign and the Boulder, Cascade, and Thunder Badges. It also connects with the Charmander 038 and Squirtle 039 promos to form one larger illustration.
4. Iono 269/193
kirisAki also illustrated this Paldea Evolved Special Illustration Rare, where Iono serves up Pikachu alongside a colorful spread of desserts in a bright pastel style. Pikachu blends right into the sugary scene. It is one of the most popular Trainer cards of the Scarlet & Violet era, and the cameo is a big part of its charm.
3. Rosa’s Encouragement 123/088
Iori Suzuki illustrated this Perfect Order Special Illustration Rare. Rosa is cheerfully eating a spoonful of Pikachu-shaped ice cream from a sundae, under a sky full of balloons. It might be the sweetest Pikachu cameo ever printed, in every sense. Line it up next to Iono for a dessert-themed Pikachu page.
2. Umbreon & Darkrai GX SM241
so-taro illustrated this Sun & Moon promo alternate art, one of the most sought-after TAG TEAM cards ever printed. Umbreon and Darkrai dominate a dark, moody scene, which makes a bright yellow Pikachu cameo even more fun to find. It is the kind of card collectors study for minutes at a time, and the hidden Pikachu is a big reason why.
1. Marshadow 146/132 & Marshadow 103/236
Marshadow takes the top spot because Pikachu cameos are part of its whole story. Its Pokédex entry says it slips into the shadows of others and copies their moves, and the Cosmic Eclipse Marshadow 103/236, illustrated by 0313, puts Pikachu right there in the art. The idea returned years later as a Mega Evolution Illustration Rare, Marshadow 146/132, which captures a playful moment between the shadowy Pokémon and Pikachu. Owning both shows how one little joke grew from a regular rare into a full-art showpiece.
Hard Mode Pikachu Cameo Cards
These cards hide Pikachu much better. Take your time, check the corners and backgrounds, and do not give up too fast.
7. Porygon-Z 214/182
GOSSAN illustrated this Paradox Rift Illustration Rare. Porygon-Z’s Pokédex entry says even academics cannot agree on whether it is a true evolution, and the art leans into that glitchy, digital personality. With so much going on in the scene, Pikachu is easy to miss. Look carefully before you move on.
6. Toxtricity 103/094
Dom illustrated this Phantasmal Flames Illustration Rare starring the punk-rock Toxtricity. It is one of the most affordable cards in Hard Mode, which makes it an easy first pickup for a cameo binder. Toxtricity owns the frame, so Pikachu takes some searching.
5. Morpeko 206/182
This Paradox Rift Illustration Rare drops Morpeko into a colorful world made of candy. Collectors love how the art captures Morpeko’s hungry, chaotic energy. With sweets everywhere you look, a small yellow Pikachu blends right in.
4. Milcery 152/142
Dsuke illustrated this Stellar Crown Illustration Rare. Milcery is made of cream, and its Pokédex entry says it escapes enemies by surprising them with how delicious it is. Pikachu is tucked into the sweet scene, so it pairs well with Rosa’s Encouragement and Iono for a dessert page.
3. Skwovet 222/198
Teeziro illustrated this Illustration Rare from the Scarlet & Violet base set. Skwovet is famous for stuffing its cheeks with berries, and the card has a cozy, everyday feel. Like Teeziro’s Kieran card, it rewards a slow look, and Pikachu is part of the hidden fun.
2. Eiscue 205/193
This Paldea Evolved Illustration Rare stars Eiscue, the Pokémon with an ice block for a head. It is a charming, slightly silly card, and the Pikachu is well hidden. Pair it with Glaceon VMAX for an icy Pikachu cameo duo.
1. Mimikyu 245/236
You Iribi illustrated this Cosmic Eclipse full art secret rare, which also features Acerola, whose island trial includes a Totem Mimikyu. Mimikyu earns the hardest spot because the Pikachu you see is not Pikachu at all: it is Mimikyu’s homemade Pikachu disguise. Whether you count the costume as a cameo is up to you, but no Pikachu collection is complete without it.
Exclusive Japanese Pikachu Cameo Cards
Influencer’s Introduction 019/023
Shimaris Yukichi illustrated this Supporter from the Japanese Start Deck 100 Battle Collection CoroCiao Version. The influencer on the card is Hikakin, one of Japan’s best-known YouTubers. The background is packed with Pokémon cameos, including Charizard, Ditto, Combee, and of course Pikachu. Even the card text is a joke: you draw 3 cards while introducing your favorite Pokémon, and your opponent may say “Nice!” if your excitement gets through.
These Pikachu cameo cards prove that Pikachu does not need to be the main character to steal the show. From plushies and posters to ice cream and hidden silhouettes, every card here rewards the collectors who take a second look. There are plenty more Pikachu cameo cards waiting in older sets, promos, and releases still to come, so treat this list as your starting point. Keep your eyes open on every pull, and enjoy the hunt for the next hidden Pikachu.
